The Department's Master Degree Program, established with the goal of training qualified researchers and professional foreign language experts, is open to applicants holding bachelor degrees or the equivalent such qualifications. Our Master's Degree programs are divided into the following two major categories: EFL (English as a Second Language) Teaching and Language Communications . Both of these Programs, be it the EFL Teaching Program , which uses cutting-edge research and pedagogical methods to train professional researchers and educators, or T he Language Communications Program , which offers advanced instruction in the ever-increasingly important areas of translation/interpretation, speech, and arbitration, are among the most competitive programs of their type in Taiwan.
